Chula Vista, CA (January 9, 2026) – A pedestrian was hurt following a traffic collision that occurred near the intersection of South Sepulveda Boulevard and La Grange Avenue in the West Los Angeles area on Thursday afternoon.
Units from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at the scene shortly after 12:00 p.m. in response to reports of a vehicle striking a person in the roadway. Upon arrival, emergency personnel located the injured pedestrian and began administering immediate care. The individual was later transported to a local hospital for further evaluation and treatment. The extent of their injuries has not yet been confirmed.
The incident took place along a busy corridor near residential and commercial zones, creating traffic congestion as crews assisted the victim and began their preliminary investigation. The involved vehicle remained at the scene, and authorities worked to determine the events that led up to the collision.
