Chula Vista, CA (January 9, 2026) – A 38-year-old woman sustained injuries on Wednesday evening following a rear-end collision near Medical Center Ct in Chula Vista. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene promptly and transported the injured driver to a nearby hospital for further care.
The incident occurred around 5:42 p.m. in the 900 block of Medical Center Ct, just outside the Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center. According to dispatch audio, the woman was the restrained driver of a small passenger vehicle when she was struck from behind by another car. Though no airbag deployment was reported and the damage appeared moderate, the driver complained of head pain following the impact.
