Dayton, OH (January 9, 2026) – A vehicle collision resulting in injuries was reported on Thursday morning near Galewood St, close to Vale Dr, and South Aragon Ave in Dayton. The incident occurred around 10:41 a.m. and prompted an emergency response from Engine 34, Battalion 30, and Medic 34.
Initial dispatch reports indicated that at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. Upon arrival, emergency crews assessed the scene and provided care to the injured individual(s). The specific nature and extent of the injuries have not yet been released, and it remains unclear if transport to a hospital was required.
The crash occurred in a residential area of Dayton and caused minor disruptions in the surrounding streets as responders worked to manage the scene and ensure safety for those involved. Authorities closed off part of the roadway temporarily to allow for cleanup and a preliminary investigation.
