Pierce Co, WA (January 9, 2026) – A bicyclist sustained serious injuries on Wednesday following a collision with a pickup truck on State Route 7 at 52nd Avenue E in Pierce County. The incident prompted an immediate emergency response and led to temporary road closures in both directions as authorities began an investigation.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred during the day when a man riding a bicycle on SR 7 was struck by a pickup. Specific details regarding the direction of travel or contributing factors were not immediately released.
