Dunklin, MO (January 9, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle crash south of Holcomb on Hwy 25 left a motorcyclist with severe injuries on Thursday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:22 p.m., roughly two miles south of Holcomb in Dunklin County. Investigators say the driver of a 2011 Harley Davidson motorcycle was attempting to pass when it struck the side of a northbound 2026 Freightliner and then collided with a 1995 Chevrolet Silverado, also traveling north.
The motorcyclist, a 63-year-old man from Holcomb, MO, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and suffered serious injuries. He was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment. His motorcycle sustained total damage and was removed by H and H Towing.
The driver of the Silverado, a 44-year-old man from Steele, MO, was reportedly uninjured, but his vehicle sustained moderate damage. The Freightliner, operated by a 63-year-old man from Memphis, TN, received minor damage and was able to be driven from the scene.
Trooper J.M. Tomaszewski is leading the investigation, which remains ongoing as authorities work to determine the full sequence of events. No citations have been reported at this time.
