San Antonio, TX (January 9, 2026) – Two individuals sustained injuries in a traffic collision that occurred during the early morning hours of Thursday on Interstate 10 West near Wurzbach Rd. The crash prompted a rapid response from local emergency crews, including Medic 37 and additional paramedic units.
Dispatch reports indicate that the collision occurred around 3:48 a.m. near a busy stretch of I-10. One of the injured individuals was reportedly intoxicated, while another suffered a broken nose and exhibited signs of low blood pressure. Despite the injuries, at least one patient was described as awake, talking, and able to walk with assistance at the scene.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation. Authorities are reviewing whether impaired driving or other factors may have contributed to the incident.
