Virginia Beach, VA (January 9, 2026) – A person was hurt following a two-vehicle collision that occurred early on Friday at the intersection of Lansdowne Rd and Dam Neck Rd in Virginia Beach. Crews responded just after midnight after reports came in regarding a crash involving a red pickup truck and a gray Kia Sportage.
Medical personnel on scene treated at least one individual for a range of injuries. Paramedics evaluated the injured at the scene before determining the need for further medical care. The extent of those injuries has not been confirmed publicly.
The intersection was briefly disrupted as authorities worked to clear the scene and provide emergency assistance. Simultaneously, a separate medical call for breathing difficulties was reported in the area of Princess Anne Rd, prompting additional response efforts.
