Reading, PA (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Friday evening to a pedestrian-involved collision in Kenhorst Borough outside a Sunoco gas station located at 701 Philadelphia Ave. The incident was reported at approximately 5:23 p.m. and involved a person who had been struck by a vehicle.
According to initial reports, the pedestrian sustained a head laceration in the crash. Paramedics with P34 responded to the scene and provided immediate medical attention. The individual’s condition beyond initial treatment has not yet been disclosed.
The area surrounding the gas station saw temporary activity disruptions as responders worked to assess the victim and investigate the circumstances of the collision. Authorities have not confirmed the identity of the driver or whether any citations were issued.
An investigation is underway to determine how the crash occurred, including whether visibility, traffic flow, or failure to yield may have contributed.
