Indianapolis, IN (January 10, 2026) – A motorcyclist was injured Friday evening following a serious collision near Eskenazi Avenue in Indianapolis. Emergency crews responded to the scene after the rider was reportedly ejected over another vehicle during the crash.
The incident occurred just after 5:00 p.m. and involved a male rider who was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. According to initial medical assessments, the victim sustained a hematoma near his right eye and multiple abrasions across his body. Fortunately, he was alert with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 13, indicating mild head trauma. No signs of back, neck, or leg injuries were reported.
Paramedics noted stable vital signs, with blood pressure at 122/72 and a heart rate of 97. An IV was administered at the scene, and the rider was transported for further evaluation and care.
Authorities have not released the names of those involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Traffic in the area was affected temporarily as responders cleared the scene.
