Suffolk, VA (April 27, 2026) – A pedestrian has died following a crash Saturday night at the intersection of Bridge Road and Bennetts Creek Lane in Suffolk.
Police responded to the scene around 9:12 p.m. after receiving reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have identified the man as 40-year-old Aaron Geister of Suffolk following notification of next of kin.
The driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. No charges have been announced at this time. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by Suffolk Police.
