Houston, MO (August 16, 2026) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on US 63, about five miles south of Houston, around 12:50 p.m., on Friday, August 14.
The collision occurred when a Ford Focus crossed the center of the roadway and struck a Ford F-150 traveling in the opposite direction. The 22-year-old Focus driver from Willow Springs, Missouri, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The 45-year-old F-150 passenger from El Dorado, Kansas, suffered moderate injuries and was also taken to the hospital.
Both vehicles sustained total damage and were towed from the scene. The crash remains under review, with the available report identifying the Focus as the vehicle that crossed the center of the roadway. Our thoughts are with both injured people as they recover from their injuries.
