Indianapolis, IN (January 10, 2026) – A police pursuit ended in a crash Friday evening near the intersection of 11th Street and Malcolm X Drive, close to Central Avenue, resulting in multiple injuries, including children.
The incident unfolded around 7:25 p.m. on January 9, when a fleeing vehicle struck another car during the chase and continued on, triggering a multi-location emergency response. Authorities confirmed that at least two ambulances were dispatched to assist injured victims at separate sites along the pursuit path.
One adult reportedly suffered a seizure as a result of the crash, and two children were also evaluated by emergency medical services at the scene. The collision near 11th and Malcolm X Dr was one of the primary impact sites, with additional units responding near 11th and Central Ave to manage a related scene from the same incident.
Rescue teams worked quickly to stabilize the injured and assess those involved, while officers secured the area and began an investigation into the pursuit and crash circumstances. The identity of those injured and the individuals involved in the pursuit have not yet been released.
