Avon, CT (January 10, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision on January 9 resulted in a rollover and left three people injured at the intersection of Sleepy Hollow Rd and Burnham Rd. The crash occurred around 3:30 p.m. and involved a pickup truck that overturned, trapping one occupant inside.
Responding Avon Police officers were able to assist the trapped individual out of the rolled vehicle before fire and EMS crews arrived. Three ambulances were requested to the scene to evaluate and transport the injured parties. The specific nature and severity of the injuries have not been released at this time.
Emergency crews remained on scene for an extended period to assess the victims and manage the crash site. Authorities are actively investigating the events that led to the rollover.
