Sacramento, CA (January 11, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle collision near the intersection of Del Paso Blvd and Northgate Blvd in Sacramento resulted in one confirmed fatality and left two other individuals in critical condition. The crash occurred in the late afternoon hours of Saturday, January 10, and prompted a large-scale emergency response involving fire, rescue, and multiple medic units.
Crews from District 14 responded to the scene, including Engine 14, Rescue 20, and multiple ambulances operating under Code 3. Upon arrival, firefighters initiated extrication efforts to remove the victims trapped inside the vehicles. According to reports from command units at the scene, one person was pronounced dead on-site, while two others were found unconscious and in critical condition.
The incident required coordination across several emergency units, with additional Code 3 medics requested as the situation escalated. Rescue teams located patients in separate vehicles, some hidden from immediate view, and quickly provided life-saving aid before arranging transport.
