Columbia, SC (January 11, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Assembly St and Laurel St resulted in at least one injury Saturday morning in downtown Columbia. First responders arrived at the scene to assist those involved in the crash, which included a black Dodge Challenger and a black or blue Nissan Rogue.
The incident was reported around 10:05 a.m. on January 10, prompting an immediate response from local law enforcement and emergency medical personnel. Upon arrival, responders confirmed that injuries were sustained in the crash and began evaluating the individuals involved.
The Dodge Challenger and Nissan Rogue sustained varying degrees of damage during the collision, which occurred at a busy intersection not far from local government offices and commercial areas. Emergency crews provided care at the scene, though it has not yet been confirmed how many individuals were transported for additional treatment.
