Indianapolis, IN (January 11, 2026) – A 24-year-old man was injured in a car accident early Friday morning near the intersection of Interstate 465 and West 86th Street in Indianapolis. The crash occurred around 6:17 a.m. and prompted a response from emergency medical personnel.
According to first responders, the vehicle sustained moderate front-end damage, and airbags were deployed. The driver, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, did not lose consciousness but suffered multiple lacerations to his right hand. The injuries were bandaged on-site before transport.
Medics confirmed that the man remained stable, alert, and fully ambulatory at the scene. He reported no neck or back pain, and his vital signs were within normal limits. He was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
