Norfolk, VA (January 11, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash with injuries was reported on the evening of January 9 at the intersection of E Princess Anne Rd and Monticello Ave in Norfolk. The collision occurred around 6:01 p.m. and resulted in an emergency response from Norfolk Fire-Rescue and police units.
Upon arrival, responders found two vehicles with moderate to significant damage near the busy intersection. Paramedics treated injured individuals at the scene and transported at least one person to a nearby hospital for further medical attention. The names and conditions of the individuals involved have not been released at this time.
Traffic in the area was temporarily delayed while crews worked to clear the roadway and conduct an on-scene investigation. Officers are currently working to determine what led to the collision, including whether a failure to yield or other driver behavior contributed to the incident.
