Apopka, FL (January 12, 2026) – A crash involving a marked police vehicle sent an Apopka Police Department officer to the hospital Monday morning following a collision at the intersection of Clarcona Road South and East 18th Street. The Florida Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident.
The crash, which occurred between a 2015 Hyundai Genesis driven by a 19-year-old and a marked Ford Explorer patrol unit, took place under still-developing circumstances.
