Chicago, IL (January 12, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident resulting in injuries was reported near the intersection of South Homan Ave and West Congress Pkwy in the city’s West Side.
The crash occurred around 5:08 p.m. on January 11 and involved two vehicles. Emergency crews were dispatched to the scene shortly after the incident and provided medical assistance to those injured. While the number and severity of injuries have not been officially confirmed, at least one person required treatment.
Fire personnel assessed the situation and secured the area before clearing the scene and returning to quarters.
The Chicago Police Department is investigating the crash to determine its cause.
