Boulder, CO (January 12, 2026) – A two-car collision at the intersection of 13th St and Baseline Rd on January 11 resulted in injuries and prompted a response from Boulder emergency services. The crash, which occurred shortly after 12:15 p.m., involved a white SUV and a gray SUV traveling along Baseline Rd.
Engine 142 and Ambulance 103 arrived on scene to find both vehicles with significant damage, including deployed airbags. All individuals involved had exited their vehicles before responders arrived. The crash was located on the north side of the roadway, in the westbound lanes, and prompted immediate evaluation by medics for injury concerns.
At the time of the response, it was not yet confirmed whether any of the occupants required transport to a medical facility. The deployed airbags and impact suggested a forceful collision, and medics remained on site to assess for any delayed or internal injuries.
Traffic in the area may have been slowed as emergency crews worked to manage the scene and ensure the safety of all individuals present.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local authorities.
We send our thoughts to those involved and hope for a swift and full recovery.
