Sarasota, FL (January 13, 2026) – Several individuals were injured in a traffic collision Monday evening at the busy intersection of N Washington Blvd and 7th St, prompting an emergency response from Sarasota County Fire Department.
The incident occurred around 8:36 p.m., involving at least two vehicles at the central Sarasota crossroad. Medics from SCFD Station 1 arrived on scene to provide aid to those hurt, treating a range of injuries sustained in the crash.
While officials have not released the identities of the individuals involved or the exact number of people injured, responders remained on site for an extended period, securing the area and supporting those affected. The severity of the injuries remains undisclosed, and it is not yet known if anyone was transported for further medical care.
