Sarasota, FL (January 13, 2026) – Midday traffic was disrupted Monday after a crash with injuries occurred in the 2300 block of N Tamiami Trl, not far from the intersection with 23rd St. Sarasota County Fire Department responded swiftly to the scene.
The incident took place around 12:57 p.m., involving at least two vehicles. Emergency crews from Station 23 provided immediate care to injured parties, treating a range of injuries on-site before determining if further medical transport was needed.
The severity of the injuries and the number of people hurt have not yet been confirmed by officials. Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as responders secured the roadway and worked to assist those involved.
