San Francisco, CA (January 14, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash resulted in injuries Monday night at the intersection of Yosemite Ave and 3rd St in San Francisco’s Bayview District.
The incident occurred at approximately 9:26 p.m., and emergency personnel from the San Francisco Fire Department responded quickly to assist the injured. Medics treated at least one victim at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
According to preliminary reports, one of the vehicles involved fled the scene before authorities arrived. The remaining vehicle was left with visible damage, and the area around the intersection was briefly cordoned off while emergency responders worked to clear the site and gather information.
Law enforcement officers are actively investigating the crash and searching for the suspect vehicle. Surveillance footage from nearby buildings and traffic cameras is being reviewed as part of the ongoing effort to locate the driver responsible.
