San Rafael, CA (January 14, 2026) – A two-vehicle crash on southbound Highway 101 near Lincoln Avenue resulted in at least one injury Sunday afternoon in San Rafael, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred at approximately 2:03 p.m., prompting a response from local emergency crews. Upon arrival, officers located two damaged vehicles and assisted with assessing those involved.
Paramedics treated at least one individual at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital for further care. The severity of the injuries has not yet been disclosed.
Traffic along the affected stretch of Highway 101 experienced minor delays as responders worked to clear the roadway and begin their investigation into the cause of the crash.
As of Wednesday, the incident remains under review by CHP officials.
