Los Angeles, CA (January 14, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured Tuesday morning in a traffic collision on the southbound Interstate 405 at the Roscoe Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol (West Valley division). The incident occurred at approximately 9:55 a.m. on January 13.

CHP dispatchers indicated that emergency medical services were en route following reports of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in the area. First responders arrived shortly after and provided care to the injured individual. The full extent of the injuries has not been confirmed, though the incident was classified as a major traffic collision.

Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as emergency crews worked to assist the victim and investigate the scene. The driver involved remained on-site, but additional details surrounding the cause of the crash have not been released.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
