Emergency crews, including Ambulance 15, Engine 15, and EMS 92, responded to the scene. The injured pedestrian was transported to Eskenazi Hospital for further treatment. According to initial reports, the vehicle that struck the pedestrian was a black SUV. The victim was conscious and alert following the incident, with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 14, indicating a mild level of head trauma. His blood pressure was recorded at 151/87, and his breathing rate was 12 breaths per minute. Despite the injury, the victim did not lose consciousness.
