Norfolk, VA (January 15, 2026) – A red pickup truck and two sedans were involved in a collision that resulted in injuries Wednesday afternoon at the busy intersection of East Brambleton Avenue and Tidewater Drive in Norfolk.
First responders were dispatched to the scene around 1:45 p.m. after reports of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, emergency crews found the involved vehicles—identified as a red Chevy Silverado and two passenger sedans—blocking portions of the roadway. Paramedics evaluated the occupants for injuries, and at least one individual received medical attention at the scene.
Traffic through the intersection was temporarily affected as responders worked to secure the area and clear the damaged vehicles. The presence of multiple vehicles at a major Norfolk intersection prompted a coordinated response to manage both safety and traffic congestion.
Officials have not released the identities of those involved or confirmed the number of people injured. Investigators will be reviewing statements from witnesses and assessing road and traffic conditions at the time of the crash to determine what led to the incident.
We extend our well wishes to those hurt in Wednesday’s accident and hope for their full recovery.
