San Antonio, TX (January 15, 2026) – A young boy was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on the far northwest side of San Antonio, according to reports from local authorities. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. near the intersection of Tezel Rd and Silent Sunrise.
Responding units arrived to find that an 11-year-old child had been hit while walking onto the 8900 block of Silent Sunrise. Officers indicated the child entered the roadway at an unsafe time, leading to the collision. Emergency medical services provided care on-site before transporting the boy to a nearby hospital for further treatment. His current condition has not been disclosed.
