Atlanta, GA (January 15, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched to a serious multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of Jackson St NE and Highland Ave NE in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. and reportedly involved three vehicles with injuries at the scene.
First responders, including local EMS and fire crews, arrived promptly to treat injured parties. Medics evaluated and assisted several individuals suffering from a variety of injuries, though the extent of those injuries has not been officially confirmed. At least one person was transported to an area hospital for further care.
The intersection—located near a mix of residential properties and community spaces—was temporarily blocked off as crews worked to manage the aftermath and clear the scene. Traffic delays extended through the area as the roadway remained restricted during the investigation and cleanup efforts.
At this time, authorities have not released the identities of those involved, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Atlanta Police Department.
