Tracy, CA (January 16, 2026) – A motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries on Wednesday morning following a collision with a work truck on the 205 Freeway in Tracy, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 7:24 a.m. on January 14, along westbound Interstate 205 near the exit for Mountain House Pkwy. CHP officials reported that a motorcycle and a work truck were involved in a collision under circumstances that remain under investigation.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene and provided immediate care to the injured motorcyclist. The individual was then transported to a local hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries. No information has been released regarding the truck driver’s condition.
Traffic on the freeway was impacted during the morning commute as officers secured the area and began their investigation. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the crash or whether any citations will be issued.
