Baltimore, MD (January 16, 2026) – A 26-year-old pregnant woman was injured in a highway crash near West Belvedere Avenue in Baltimore on January 15. Emergency crews responded to the scene after the woman’s vehicle reportedly struck a center barrier, causing minor trauma.
The woman was found alert and conscious at the scene but complained of knee pain following the impact. Medics assessed her condition and transported her to Sinai Hospital for further evaluation as a precaution due to her pregnancy. No other vehicles were immediately reported to be involved in the incident.
The crash occurred during early morning hours in an area where ramps and highway connectors often create abrupt lane shifts and limited shoulder space. The full cause of the crash remains under investigation.
