Dayton, OH (January 18, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a milk tanker truck and a passenger vehicle left three people injured early Saturday morning in Clark County at the intersection of State Route 4 and Enon Rd, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 4:00 a.m. and caused significant disruption after the milk tanker, belonging to Norris Milk Hauling out of Wapakoneta, overturned into a ditch. As a result of the impact, the tanker spilled its cargo, leaving the surrounding area coated in milk and complicating cleanup efforts.
Officials reported that the commercial vehicle veered off the roadway to the right, while the passenger vehicle came to a stop on the left side. Emergency crews, including multiple tow operators, responded promptly to manage the scene and remove the overturned truck.
The tanker driver was transported to Miami Valley Hospital in stable condition. The two occupants of the passenger vehicle were taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center and were also listed in stable condition following the incident.
Due to the extent of the damage and environmental concerns, SR-4 northbound was shut down at Enon Rd. Recovery and spill cleanup are being handled by Dan’s Towing and the Environmental Protection Agency, with traffic control operations supported by the Ohio Department of Transportation.
We send our best wishes for recovery to those injured in this serious accident.
