Worcester, MA (January 18, 2026) – A hit-and-run collision in Worcester left at least one person injured on Saturday afternoon, prompting a response from multiple emergency units. The crash occurred near the intersection of Lovell St and Chandler St around 4:05 p.m. on January 17.
Paramedics arrived on scene shortly after the crash was reported, treating at least one individual for injuries sustained in the incident. One police unit remained at the location to assist medical crews and gather initial information. The injured party was tended to while authorities began securing the area and investigating the circumstances of the crash.
According to dispatch communications, the suspect vehicle fled the scene after the impact but was identified through a relayed description and license plate information. The vehicle was reportedly left in the middle of the street, and units were dispatched to locate and process the scene.
