Shreveport, LA (January 18, 2026) – A 24-year-old male was injured on Saturday evening in a pedestrian crash near Fairfield Ave in Shreveport, prompting a medical response from emergency services.
The incident occurred around 6:27 p.m. on January 17. According to EMS dispatch reports, the individual sustained injuries to his right wrist and right ankle after being struck while riding his bicycle. Responders noted the bicycle had sustained major damage, indicating a forceful impact. Fortunately, the victim remained conscious, alert, and stable at the scene, with a Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 15 and no signs of head trauma or loss of consciousness.
Emergency crews confirmed stable vital signs, including a blood pressure of 110/70 and a pulse of 70, before transporting the injured man to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
