Monroe, NY (January 18, 2026) – Multiple individuals sustained injuries in a motor vehicle accident that took place on Saturday morning at the intersection of Orange Turnpike and E Mombasha Rd in Monroe. The collision occurred around 11:42 a.m., prompting a rapid response from Monroe Fire and other emergency units in the area.
Upon arrival, crews discovered a crash involving at least two vehicles with visible damage. Those injured were quickly evaluated by on-scene medics, who provided immediate aid. Several people were later transported to nearby hospitals for further treatment, though the severity of their injuries has not been officially confirmed.
Traffic in the area was temporarily disrupted as responders worked to clear the intersection and assist victims. The damaged vehicles were later removed from the scene, allowing normal flow to resume.
