Springfield, MO (January 19, 2026) – One person was injured following a two-vehicle accident involving a Jeep and a Honda SUV on Saturday afternoon near East Elm Street in Springfield.
The collision occurred around 12:06 p.m. on January 17. Emergency units were dispatched to the area after receiving reports of a crash involving the two vehicles. Upon arrival, crews found one individual complaining of chest and arm pain. Medical personnel were requested to the scene to evaluate and treat the injured party.
Airbags were deployed in at least one of the vehicles involved, indicating a significant impact. Authorities noted that all individuals at the scene appeared to be alert and sober, and no further injuries were reported.
While the cause of the accident has not been officially confirmed, traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as emergency responders managed the scene.
