Hesperia, CA (January 19, 2026) – A man was killed in a motorcycle accident Friday afternoon following a collision with a sedan in the northern area of Hesperia, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal crash was reported shortly after 1 p.m. in the 8200 block of Caliente Rd, north of El Centro Rd. Based on the preliminary investigation, the motorcyclist was traveling in the area when he collided with a sedan under still-unclear circumstances.
Deputies and fire crews arrived on scene and located the rider down in the roadway with severe injuries. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. Authorities have not yet released his identity, pending notification of next of kin.
The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation. There were no immediate reports of additional injuries.
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is continuing to investigate the factors that may have contributed to the crash.
