Springfield, MO (January 20, 2026) – A two-car collision at the intersection of North Kansas Expressway and West Brower St sent emergency crews into action Monday morning following reports of injuries, including at least one person bleeding from the face.
The incident occurred around 9:59 a.m. and involved a gray or black Subaru Forester and a red Nissan Versa. According to dispatch audio, the crash led to injuries for at least one occupant, who was reportedly bleeding from the nose when emergency teams arrived. Springfield Fire Department’s Engine 13 and Tower 2 units were dispatched to the scene and provided immediate aid to those involved.
Traffic at the intersection was temporarily affected as responders worked to secure the vehicles and assist the injured. Both vehicles sustained visible damage, though further details on the severity were not officially confirmed. The condition of the injured individual has not been released, but the injuries were treated as non-life-threatening at the time of response.
