Adamsville, AL (January 20, 2026) – A 19-year-old woman lost her life early on Monday morning in a multi-vehicle collision on US Highway 78 near Minor Parkway in Adamsville, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 5:33 a.m. on January 19 and involved multiple vehicles. Brianna Hawkins, a resident of Dora, was identified as one of the occupants in one of the vehicles. Tragically, she was pronounced dead at the scene by responding authorities.
Details surrounding the cause of the crash have not yet been released, and investigators are continuing to examine the sequence of events that led to the fatal incident. The number of other individuals involved or injured has not been confirmed.
