Indianapolis, IN (January 20, 2026) – Two people were injured in a motor vehicle collision near S Emerson Ave on January 19, with both patients experiencing pain and requiring medical evaluation. Emergency crews noted that communication at the scene was challenging due to a language barrier.
The crash occurred at approximately 45 miles per hour, resulting in one individual suffering chest pain on the right side after impacting the steering wheel, along with discomfort in the left hip. The second occupant reported pain at the base of the skull and top of the neck.
Despite the communication challenges, responders confirmed both patients were stable upon transport. Paramedics focused on maintaining care while gathering additional medical details en route to the hospital.
