Nashville, TN (January 21, 2026) – Emergency responders from Nashville Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene of a crash with injuries Tuesday morning along the southbound lanes of I-65 near mile marker 86, in the Trinity Hills area.
The collision occurred at approximately 9:03 a.m. between the Trinity Ln interchange and the I-65 split, a high-traffic section of the interstate. First responders, including paramedics and fire crews, quickly arrived and provided care to individuals injured in the crash. A variety of injuries were reported, though the number of victims and the extent of their injuries have not been officially confirmed.
Traffic in the area was heavily impacted, with multiple lanes affected as emergency teams worked to assist victims and remove the damaged vehicles from the roadway. At least one individual was transported to a local medical center for further treatment.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation. Officials are reviewing whether traffic conditions, driver behavior, or other external factors may have contributed to the collision.
