Mobile, AL (January 22, 2026) – Two men were transported to the hospital Wednesday following a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Houston St and Government St in Mobile.
The collision occurred during the day and prompted a response from both the Mobile Police Department and Mobile Fire Rescue Department. According to police, one of the vehicles involved rolled over and came to rest on its roof near a power pole, creating a hazardous scene at the intersection.
Fire and medical crews worked quickly to assist both drivers and secure the area. Each driver, both adult males, was taken to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. Authorities stated that the extent of their injuries was not known at the time of the report.
Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as responders cleared the overturned vehicle and investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials have not released information regarding what may have caused the accident.
