Lancaster, CA (January 22, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision involving injuries near the intersection of 7th St West and West Avenue L-8 on January 21. The crash occurred around 1:36 PM and involved at least one party sustaining trauma, according to dispatch audio.
Los Angeles County Fire Department units, including Engine 129, arrived on scene shortly after the call was received. Although no individuals were trapped inside the vehicles, medics assessed the injured and provided care on site. The exact number of people hurt and the severity of their injuries has not yet been released.
The incident was secured and transitioned to patrol status once responders cleared the area and determined there was no active fire or hazardous condition at the scene. Authorities are continuing to investigate the events leading up to the crash. Additional details have not yet been made available.
