Sutter County, CA (January 23, 2026) – A three-vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred on Friday morning on northbound State Route 99 at Oswald Rd. The incident, which took place around 7:50 a.m., involved a silver sedan, a silver Ford Expedition, and an additional unidentified vehicle.
Emergency medical responders arrived at the scene to evaluate and assist those injured in the crash. At least one person was reported to be inside their vehicle following the impact, prompting a medical response under a “1141 Enrt” classification. The specific condition of those involved has not yet been released.
The crash temporarily blocked northbound lanes of SR-99 as law enforcement and tow operators worked to clear the wreckage. Multiple tow companies, including Randy’s and EZ Towing, were contacted to handle the removal of the damaged vehicles. Randy’s Towing, reportedly involved in a separate incident, was unable to respond.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, including whether weather, road conditions, or driver behavior played a role.
