Riverside County, CA (January 23, 2026) – A serious multi-vehicle accident resulted in a variety of injuries late Thursday night along southbound I-215 just south of the SR-60 Moreno Valley interchange. The collision was reported shortly after 11:10 p.m. and involved a BMW sedan, a Toyota Corolla, and a semi-truck.
Upon arrival, emergency medical services and fire crews found multiple parties injured inside the involved vehicles. A female passenger inside the Toyota Corolla was reported unconscious, while another female occupant was experiencing severe injuries and required immediate medical attention. Paramedics worked quickly to stabilize those hurt at the scene before arranging transport to nearby hospitals for further care.
The crash caused several lanes to become blocked as damaged vehicles came to rest across the roadway, including one vehicle stopped in an active lane of traffic. Additional individuals were seen walking within the lanes following the collision, prompting responders to secure the area to prevent further harm.
Tow-truck services were requested for multiple vehicles due to extensive damage, and traffic through the interchange was significantly impacted during the response and cleanup efforts.
