Fresno, CA (January 23, 2026) – A person riding an electric bike was injured Wednesday evening after being struck by a vehicle along Palm Avenue, according to Fresno authorities.
The incident took place just before 4:30 p.m. on January 21, north of Olive Avenue. Officials reported that the e-bike rider was traveling along the northbound side of Palm Avenue when they were hit by a passing vehicle under circumstances that have yet to be clarified.
Responding officers and emergency medical personnel arrived minutes later and found the rider injured at the scene. The individual was evaluated and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Details about the severity of the rider’s injuries have not been released.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by local law enforcement.
