Alhambra, CA (January 24, 2026) – An accident involving injuries occurred late Friday night at the intersection of W Hellman Ave and N Chandler Ave in Alhambra. The collision was reported at approximately 9:55 p.m. on January 23 and prompted an immediate response from local fire and medical crews.
First responders, including paramedics and rescue teams from Alhambra Fire and Rescue, arrived at the scene and provided care to those hurt in the crash. At least one vehicle was involved, and the individuals on site sustained a variety of injuries. Some victims required transportation to nearby hospitals for additional treatment, though the total number of those hospitalized has not yet been confirmed.
The intersection, located in a residential area near local schools and community centers, experienced temporary traffic delays as authorities worked to assist the injured and clear the roadway. Damaged vehicles and debris obstructed lanes during the response effort.
