Hartford, CT (January 24, 2026) – Emergency crews were dispatched to a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries on Franklin Ave near the intersections of Antioch and Pocatuck on January 24.
Initial reports indicated the presence of injured individuals and prompted a response from multiple fire units, including Truck 1 and Ladder 6. However, by the time responders arrived, there were conflicting accounts regarding the presence of a crash scene, and some parties appeared to have left the area before crews could make contact.
Despite the confusion, the incident was initially treated as an injury accident, and police were notified about the possibility of a vehicle fleeing the scene. The area was later cleared once crews confirmed no active hazards or victims remained on site.
