Berkeley County, WV (January 24, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident near Evans Run Dr early morning, January 24 led to lane closures and prompted an emergency response to check for injuries. The collision occurred in the northbound lane and turn lane leading to Evans Run and was first reported at approximately 4:36 a.m.
Upon arrival, emergency personnel found one vehicle partially blocking the roadway and the second off the road. Crews worked to secure the area and assess the individuals involved for injuries. Although the full extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed, medical aid was provided on-site.
Traffic in the area was temporarily impacted as responders shut down the affected lanes to ensure safety while managing the scene and investigating the cause of the crash.
Authorities are continuing to evaluate the circumstances surrounding the accident and have not yet released additional details.
