St. Pete Beach, FL (January 25, 2026) – A pedestrian was injured in a traffic crash that occurred Sunday on Blind Pass Rd at the intersection with 75th Ave, prompting emergency response and a temporary road closure.
The incident happened earlier in the day and involved a vehicle striking a pedestrian along the westbound lanes of 75th Ave. Emergency medical teams quickly arrived at the scene to provide immediate care to the injured pedestrian. The individual was later transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The extent of the injuries has not yet been made public.
Westbound 75th Ave was closed to traffic while authorities responded to the scene and began an investigation into the cause of the collision. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes to prevent congestion.
